Still goodThis book i have read three times now and it is such a great book where you can t put it down I m so glad there is a part two to continue the store I ll be reading that after posting my review It was definitely Cashmere vs people in my eyes Either way it means the same thing I enjoyed the book I wish desire could have gotta her act together Now I kind We, the People: Of Earth Elders of understand the connection between the father and desire I am sickf Black he really needs to be deal with in the uickest way My book is called The People VS Cashmere written by Karen Williams This book is about Cashmere Pierce and how her scandalous mother and sister leave her an Black Marxism: The Making of the Black Radical Tradition orphan fending for herself It all started with her dad getting into a car crash and ending up into a coma Cashmere s mom then gets uite fed up with being thenly parent and flees leaving Cashmere and her sister Carmen to live مترو on theirwn When social child service gets word f this the two girls are forced to live with their aunt While living with their Aunt Cashmere s lder sister Carmen gets accused The Windy Season of doing the unthinkable with her Aunt s husband As a result they are back where they started fromrphaned with no Oldies but Goodies one The two girls began to do everything in their power to keep their dad into his nursing home until he wakes up and a roofver their head Everything was going A Month of Sundays okay until Carmen put Cashmere in a bad situation She now hated her big sister and did everything in her power to stayut Evangeline, a Master For Tonight Companion Novel of her way That is untilne day Cashmere went to see her dad in the nursing home Beneath the Jolly Roger only to findut that Carmen had pulled the plug Merzbook: The Pleasuredome of Noise on her dad A furious Cashmere does the unthinkable that lands her in another situation she never thought she would be in I liked this book becausef all the drama that was involved in it and how it was so well put together to the point every detail matched to the story I also like that fact that the details were so vivid it was like I had a movie going n in my head Although I couldn t relate to the main character I felt what she was going through She was going through betrayal by a person you thought would never hurt you which is something I ve been through It wasn t as horrific as hers but I can picture what she was going through Readers that love drama and betrayal mixed with scandals will absolutely love this book Although it s a fiction book the way the author describes every detail makes it seem like she s been through the same torture I rate this book a five ut Pig of five rating because it kept men the edge Finding themselves rphans sisters Carmen and Cashmere have to do anything they can to earn some money.

L But verally book was great Karen Williams has done it again I will have to say she is ne f my favorite authors I will totally have to look for Rim of the Pit (Rogan Kincaid, of her books in the future First I will start with myne and They Also Serve only negative about this book The editing is awful I preach this time and time again but I know it is in vain Black authors please find someone reliable to edit your books There is no excuse for errors to ben THE FREAKING FIRST PAGE OF THE BOOK It s embarrassing and it takes away from a great read it s very distracting as well Anyway I really enjoyed this book The story line is very grimy and just plain nasty in some parts because this is a child we are reading about but at the end Conversations From The Neighborhood Ice Cream Shop: 8 Keys To Rediscovering Lost Dreams And Finding Your Life's Calling of the story I found the message to be amazing Black womenften unknowingly start cycles No Time for Sergeants of abuse we pass themn to ur daughters and the cycle never gets broken r it gets broken but at the expense f ur young girls I enjoyed reading about Cashmere she is the most likable character I have read about in an urban book in a long long time VerdictLeft to fend for themselves sisters Cashmere and Desiree have to come up with a plan and uick With neither sister ld enough to maintain a legal job their ptions are limited Violence jealousy and betrayal unfold With elements like jealousy love and betrayal The People Vs Cashmere had potential Unfortunately it never reached it The first half Large Catechism of Martin Luther of the novel was long andverdrawn I understand some Junior Jolt of the events in the beginning needed to transpire for events in the second half to happen but I would have preferred a uicker route The title was misleading and the synopsisn the book s back cover had a character s name wrong On the plus side I enjoyed some Ceux de la posie vcue of the pointsknowledge conveyed through somef her characters The People Vs Cashmere verall was an kay read I wouldn t discourage anyone from reading it but I wouldn t really recommend it either Reviewed by Tracy All I can say is OMG This book was sooooo good I felt as if I was in the life f these people I felt what they felt saw what they saw and BOY was that interestingThe book was so good that I couldnt go to sleep I had to finish itI finished it the first day I bought it at booksamillion I was upset with myself for reading it sooo fast but I SOOO ENJOYED EV CashmereThis was a good book that kept me interested I will say ne Troublemaker:: One Man's Crusade Against China's Cruelty of the characters name in the synopsis doesn t match their name in the actual book Though this book has a part 2 I honestly feel that everything was summed up in book Hen she sees their pimp falling for her sister and setsff a chain f events that land Cashmere in ja.
