Ess and enjoyable read It was very easy to consume this book in two sittingsLike a A Womans Guide to Fasting lot of books in this genre there is some predictability in the storyine but it is almost as if the author uses this as a feign to draw the reader into towards some unexpected surprises as the story unfoldsI Hermann Zapf and His Design Philosophy love how Daly masterfully winds what appear to be two major and separate story themes in and out of each other building into a pulse rising climax While it wouldn t necessary be a reuisite to reading this book I would recommend reading the first in this series for complete picture of the main characters and their relationships with each other I received the audiobook free in exchange for an honest reviewI really enjoyed this book Sean Coleman is the town bad boy A troublemaker And he a bit of a private investigator He becomes interested in a nurse at theocal blood clinic when he goes to give plasma and I Know Who You Are learns that her uncle has disappeared In an attempt to impress her he decides to see if he can find out what happened to the manMeanwhile his brother inaw the Spring Girl local sheriff is concerned about the brother of a criminal he killed coming after him for revenge When Sean disappears whileooking into the case of the missing uncle the sheriff goes Menerjang Batas looking for SeanThe story has uite a few twists and turns that made this an intriguingisten and kept me guessing as to what was going to happen Good writing style by the author The narrator Shawn Compton has a The protagonist is a bit off putting at first but as his character is developed he becomes uite appealing The mystery is unusual and interesting The story isn t filled with gratuitous violence There s a burst of violent action near the end of the book Over all I Chosen Vessels liked all the characters and enjoyed the story as well ARC provided by NetgalleyI hate to give it 1 star because I have read worse but it really truly wasn t very good Honestly if it hadn t been an ARC it would have been a DNFThe first third of the book is horribly over written Seriously how did it get past an editor Overly descriptive and wordy As the book progresses this flaw fades or ateast gets overshadowed by better action Complicated confusing action I had not read the first book in the series and maybe that would have helped me understand what turned out to be two separate plot No Apology Necessary lines One belonging to the Sheriff and one to Sean Coleman Thinly connected in an action packed disturbingly convoluted ending My thoughts on the ending consisted of seriously that is the way this is going to end Nobody with a brain would believe the story concocted by the characters to make everything work out in the end so nobody but the dead bodies get the blame I don t believe I would have read this book had I read the first in the series I can t believe it s written any better I won t be reading the nex.
